If you’re new here, this appointment is suitable for anyone requiring assessment and diagnosis of lower limb foot and ankle conditions. Assessment may include the use of technology to analysis walking, running or sport specific movement patterns.

Suitable for foot, ankle or lower-limb pain, injuries, walking, running and sports-related problems. Your initial assessment allows us to understand your symptoms, assess how you move and develop an individual treatment plan.

A detailed history will be taken at this appointment related to general health, medication, previous injuries, surgeries and training history.
We often assess knee and hip function as part of the assessment therefore it is advised to bring/wear loose fitting clothing (eg. Shorts) to this appointment. Athletes are advised to bring their sport specific footwear for assessment.

For nail care, corns, callus, skin concerns and general foot health. This appointment is suitable whether you have a specific concern or simply need ongoing professional foot care.
We also provide diabetic foot assessments and care, including assessment of circulation and sensation to help identify and manage potential foot health risks.

Our team assesses and manages a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the foot, ankle and lower limb, from everyday pain and mobility problems to running and sports-related injuries.
Foot & Ankle Pain
Assessment and management of common conditions including heel pain, bunions, Morton’s neuroma and other causes of foot and ankle pain, with treatment tailored to your symptoms, activity and goals.
Muscle & Tendon Injuries
Assessment and rehabilitation of soft tissue and tendon conditions including Achilles, tibialis posterior and peroneal tendinopathy, as well as other muscle and tendon-related injuries.

Assessment for custom 3D-printed foot orthoses, including review and adjustment of existing devices where appropriate.

Individual footwear assessment and recommendations based on your symptoms, activity demands and sporting requirements.
Your assessment will help determine the most appropriate management plan, including whether you may benefit from specialist treatments, further imaging or onward referral to medical or allied health colleagues for additional assessment.

Assessment and treatment of general foot health concerns, including difficult or thickened nails, corns, hard skin and callus, with ongoing care available where required.
Diabetic Foot Care
Diabetic foot assessment and treatment, including evaluation of circulation, sensation and overall foot health to identify risk factors and help prevent complications.
Corns, Callus & Hard Skin
Professional treatment of painful corns, callus and areas of hard skin, alongside advice to help address contributing factors and reduce recurrence.
Ingrown Toenails
Assessment and treatment of painful or recurrent ingrown toenails. Where appropriate, we can also assess suitability for nail surgery and discuss longer-term treatment options.
Verrucae & Warts
Assessment and treatment options for verrucae and warts, including specialist treatment for persistent lesions where appropriate.
Fungal Nail & Skin Infections

Specialist Treatments
We offer a range of specialist assessment and treatment options for foot and ankle pain, injury and movement-related conditions.
Foot Orthoses & Ankle Bracing
Prefabricated and custom 3D-printed foot orthoses and ankle braces, prescribed to help manage pain, improve function and support activity.
Walking & Running Gait Analysis
Walking and running gait analysis can help identify movement patterns relevant to pain or injury. For running-related injuries, gait retraining may be used to modify load, manage symptoms and support your return to running.
Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) is available for selected musculoskeletal conditions as part of an individual treatment plan.
Corticosteroid Injections
Corticosteroid injections are available for selected foot and ankle conditions following clinical assessment and where appropriate.
Specialist treatments are recommended based on your individual diagnosis, needs and goals.
Minor Surgeries

Ingrown Toenail Surgery
Toenail removal under local anaesthetic injection.
Treatment fee will include the surgical procedure, x2 follow up appointments (Appointment duration 15mins within 1 week of initial procedure & 4 weeks post op), post- surgery dressings and advice pack.
*Patients must attend a routine footcare appointment to assess whether nail surgery is appropriate.

Faulkner’s (Verrucae) Needling
Faulkner’s Needling technique for verrucae under local anaesthetic injection. This may involve anaesthetising the digit (toe) or ankle, depending on the location of the verrucae.
Treatment fee will include, needling procedure, x2 follow up appointments (appointment duration 15mins 4weeks and 12 weeks post op) post op dressings as required and an advice pack.
*Patients must attend general footcare appointment to ascertain whether Faulkner’s Needling is appropriate
